Traffic Exchange Downline Builders (TE-DLBs) provide a set of links to which the new user is required to add his User ID for promotion. If he refers anybody who had not joined these programs, such persons will then be joining via his own link. Since you refered him,then in the process of inserting his IDs, if he decides to join any for which he is not already a member, then he would do so via your link. If on the other hand , he decides not to join, then your link remains there, such that his own downlines can join through you. It is a powerful leveraging system that ensures that your downline either joins under you or would be promoting your links for others to join through.
Personally, I find that the best way to go about joining Traffic Exchanges is via the TE-DLBs and not through joining each individually. It is a pity that newbies hardly ever chance upon this good advice.
